In 1992, Angie returned to Greece, and until recently she has been managing the crew functions of Oceanbulk Maritime S.A. and Star Bulk S.A, as a Crew Manager, which is a Nasdaq-listed shipping company with a fleet of 108 newly built dry-bulk cargo vessels. She currently holds the position of Executive Vice President – Crew Affairs and is in charge of monitoring the crew plans on bulk carriers adhering to sound manning practices and proper financial principles, as well as strengthening the company’s affairs with crews. For this reason, Angie often travels to Manila and the rest of the world, in order to keep close contact with the crew, promote the companies’ brand name, and always exploring future potential markets.
