Established this year, the Renewable Transport Fuel Association represents the interests of UK renewable fuel producers, and those dispensing renewable gaseous fuels for transport. Its founder members include all UK bioethanol and biodiesel producers, and the majority of biomethane suppliers. The RTFA’s mission is to maximise the demand for renewable and recycled carbon fuels, in road, rail, maritime and aviation. These fuels have an important role to play in the transition to electrification of light duty vehicles, and will have an enduring role in transport sectors that are hard to decarbonise.
