Francesco Maria di Majo is the President of the Port Authority System of the Center-North Tyrrhenian Sea.

He has been appointed by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport by ministerial Decree no. 392 of the 24th of November 2016.

Francesco Maria di Majo is a lawyer and he has participated, as one of the Italian experts on European transport law, in the "Initiative Study on Port facilities" of the Department of Planning and Coordination of Economic Policy (DIPE) at the Presidency of the Council.

He also gained important experience at international level as diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he held several positions, including the commercial attachè at the Italian Embassy in Wien.

During his professional experience in Austria, he also participated in the negotiation of the Agreement between Italy and Austria for the realization of the Brenner Base Tunnel.

弗朗西斯科·玛丽亚迪Majoalso had very important experience as project manager of European Union programs in the Western Balkans and was legal consultant to several international organizations and foreign States, in particular in the area of public procurement, energy, enhancement the public domain and revision of customs control measures in ports.

He served as chief of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany and European environmental law professor at the University for Foreigners of Perugia and author of several publications on the subject and on ports.

Francesco Maria di Majo was born and lives in Rome and he is married with two children.
