Eleni Antoniadou

Eleni is a lawyer with experience in the field of sustainability, green shipping, offshore oil & gas and renewable energy sectors. She currently works as Claims Executive for the Standard P&I Club.

In her previous role, she worked as a Legal Officer for the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the United Nations specialized agency for shipping. Prior to this position, she was the Policy & Regulatory Affairs Adviser for the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA), focusing on international legislative affairs, energy performance, emissions management, as well as MLC and MRV compliance.

Prior to joining IMCA, Eleni was Regulatory Analytics Manager for eRevalue, a data analytics firm, assisting companies stay abreast of emerging regulatory, reputational and competitive risks in sustainability reporting. In addition, she completed work placements with the Rhodes Academy of Oceans Law and Policy and the Network of Experts on the Legal Aspects of Maritime Safety and Security (MARSAFENET).

Eleni graduated with an LLM in Public International Law as well as an LLM in Maritime Law at University College of London (UCL). She is admitted as a solicitor in Athens, Greece; and registered with the Solicitors Regulatory Authority in England & Wales as a European Lawyer (REL).
