Laser Protection Adviser and Non-Ionising Radiation Specialist at Aurora Health Physics Services

Raj joined Aurora in 2006 as a senior RPA, RWA, LPA and NIR Specialist. He provides advice and radiation protection services to a wide variety of clients across all sectors, including advice to corporate clients on how to implement robust radiation protection practices across multiple sites. He also has many years of experience as a project manager for large decommissioning and remediation projects.

Raj has been a key member of Aurora’s NIR Services Team which has led to the development of Aurora’s services in this area. His client base is varied and covers many sectors for both ionising and non-ionising radiation and includes the medical, industrial, academic, research and military sectors.

Raj is a Chartered Radiation Protection Professional and a member of the Society for Radiological Protection (SRP). He also acts as an RPA2000 assessor for RPA. RWA and LPA portfolios
