Monika Wiederhold has been the Managing Director of Amadeus Germany GmbH since April 2017, with overall corporate responsibility for the markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Since January 2019, she has also been Executive Vice President of Airlines Central and Eastern Europe. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President of Travel Channels Retail for the NECSE markets (Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Europe) in addition to her role as Managing Director.
Monika Wiederhold began her career at Deutsche Lufthansa AG as a consultant for network and flight planning systems, followed by various positions in the Lufthansa Group, including product management & innovation and group strategy. She is an active member of international networks on topics related to the digital innovation of the aviation industry.
