Janelle Branch Lewis is an environmental engineer at Chevron, based in Houston, TX. She designs and manages R&D projects related to novel waste treatment technologies aimed at reducing cost and environmental footprint associated with managing recalcitrant waste. She also provides technical guidance on waste management strategies in upstream, midstream, and downstream O&G operations for both domestic and international locations. Janelle received her Ph.D. in environmental engineering from Vanderbilt University where her research supported immobilization strategies for radioactive waste at U.S. DOE sites. She previously received her B.S. in chemical engineering from Florida Institute of Technology.
