Nzioki是植物病理学家肯ya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO) in Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and a Master of Science degree in Plant Pathology from Kansas State University, USA. He has worked on cereals (maize and sorghum), grain legumes (pigeon peas, beans, cowpeas and mung beans) root crop (cassava) and grasses (brachiaria and sugarcane) diseases. In addition to research, he runs a plant disease diagnostic and advisory laboratory at Katumani in Machakos County in Kenya where he is based. He has research interests in biological control of parasitic weeds. He has worked on biocontrol of Alectra vogelli weed in cowpea, and on biocontrol of Striga hermonthica weed by virulence enhanced Fusarium oxysporum. He is currently working on registration of virulence enhanced Fusarium oxysporum for control of Striga hermonthica weed in Kenya with support of the Toothpick Project
