Shweta is the Senior Partner at Hammurabi & Solomon Partners (HSP), a leading Law Firm in India, and possesses an enriched experience of almost twenty years, specializing in Dispute Resolution (Arbitration & Mediation) & Litigation in corporate commercial matters. Her areas of specialization also include Insolvency, Bankcruptcy and Restructuring and have led some pathbreaking cases, including on 'Reverse Insolvency', in this arena. Shweta has appeared regularly before Hon'ble Supreme Court as well as almost all the High Courts of the Country besides appearing before the various Benches of National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), National Green Tribunal (NGT), CAT, FERA Appellate Board, ATFE, PMLA and various other Tribunals across the Country. She has handled numerous domestic as well as International Arbitrations, both ad-hoc as well as Institutional arbitral Institutions viz., ICC, SIAC, DIAC, ICA etc She has also been advising Clients on Foreign Direct Investments inbound as well outbound, company formation, company administration, restructuring and liquidation, Joint Ventures, Compliance, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&As) etc. Shweta is the Jurisdictional Council Member (JCM) for India as well as the ex-Chair of the Environmental Law Committee of Inter Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) and am also a very active member of CII, International Bar Association (IBA), Society of Indian law Firms (SILF) to name a few. Shweta is also a part of the Sub-Committee formed by the Department of Law & Justice to advice the Government of India on the ways of curbing the Delays in dispensation of Justice by the Courts in India.
