Profile
Christof J. Kessler has been CEO of Gothaer Asset Management AG in Cologne since he joined the company in 2010. Prior to this position, he spent fifteen years as Managing Director and CIO Fixed Income at Oppenheim Asset Management GmbH. From 1992 to 1995, he worked at the Bayerische Hypotheken und Wechselbank AG, Munich (today Unicredito) as Head of the Institutional Portfolio Management Department. Mr. Kessler started his career as a Quantitative Equity Analyst for a Swiss private bank in Zürich. He holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin, where he first graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
