Marnix Bruning is responsible for two separate sales teams in the Financial Markets organization. First of all Marnix is managing the Money Market Sales team across 5 major global centers. This team consists of 10 dedicated team members focusing on the sales of FM products with a shorter then 2year maturity, such as CD/CP, Repo, Deposits, TBills, Credits, etc. Also part of the MM Sales franchise is the very successful CD/CP franchise with distribution of over 300 different CP/CP issuance programs. This team has received multiple awards over the last years including the one for “Best Overall ECP Dealer 2017” and has been leading the league tables since 6 years consecutively. Next to this role Marnix is also responsible for Central Bank Sales team with a dedicated focus on Central Bank, Multilateral Development Bank and Sovereign Wealth Fund clients. This team initiative was launched in November 2013 and centralizes client coverage across asset classes enabling tailor made service and a single point of contact for this client group.

Prior to his roles at FM Sales, Marnix held various trading positions in Short Term Interest Rate trading and was a member of the Bank Treasury team focusing on Funding and Balance Sheet management. Marnix was also previously responsible for the Commercial Paper activities building the desk into a market leading franchise.

Recently Marnix also joined a key innovation initiative lead by the R3 consortium exploring the options to deal CDCP via Blockchain technology.
