Eleonora Ocello is a policy officer at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission in the unit “Commission Priorities and Strategic Coordination”. She is responsible for ensuring an efficient integration of competition policy in the mainstream of the Commission's priorities, in particular in relation to digital policy. Previously she was a case handler at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission and was responsible for the review of several mergers in the telecoms and digital sector. She holds a PhD in EU competition law from the University of Udine and a Masters Degree from the University of Milan.
