Routinely recognised as a leading individual and ranked in the legal directories for his expertise in this sector, Ed receives complex and high value instructions from across the world. He has acted in the sale or purchase of over 200 ships registered in 24 different flag states, with particular experience in the Caspian region, and has represented clients at negotiations and completions in over 20 countries. Ed is co-author of “Ship Registration: Law and Practice” (second edition, 2009) for Lloyd’s Shipping Law Library/Informa. He was also named Specialist Lawyer of the Year in the Scottish Legal Awards in 2010.
