Mark Russell is the Head of Insolvency & Restructuring at KSG Attorneys in the Cayman Islands, where he practices in the areas of insolvency, recovery, fraud and commercial litigation. Much of his work has a fraud or cross-border aspect and includes advisory as well as contentious mandates. His recent engagements include advising a not-for-profit on issues arising from corruption and fraud by former officers and obtaining a winding up order for a company looking to use the liquidation process to manage and conclude litigation in Cayman, the US and the Turks and Caicos. Mark has provided expert evidence on Cayman law to the United States Bankruptcy Court.

Prior to relocating to Cayman in 2016, Mark practiced for almost 7 years in Canada. In 2014, he completed a Master of Laws (with Distinction) with a specialization in international business law through the University of London. Mark regularly speaks at various conferences and seminars.
